To Do: Rest
Do you have “rest” on your to do list?
I do. It’s good in theory, but then I find that I spend my entire “rest” time twitching my leg anxiously thinking, “what’s next?”
My rest then becomes another task to be marked off the list. This defeats the whole purpose.
We need quality time to let go of stress, not an anxious time thinking of all the things I should be doing.
But how do we get this elusive release?
Take time to make a plan that balances “doing” and “being.”
