Balance Doing and Being
We feel whole when we balance “doing” and “being.”
Too much “doing” makes us feel rushed, untethered, and burned out. It is easy to forget the greater picture and our purpose in the tornado of to-dos.
Too much “being” makes us feel lethargic, worthless and difficult to motivate. It is easy to lose track of the details in a state of low self-esteem and apathy.
Inner peace is only possible when we find the sweet spot between doing and being. We feel whole when we do what needs to be done, but also create space to decompress and breathe.
Which side of the spectrum are you on right now?
