Intentional Breathing
Do you feel like too much is happening at once? Do you feel like nothing is happening at all? This simple breathing practice will help bring you back into alignment.
Put your hand over your heart. Tune into your heartbeat. This is your life source. You are alive! No matter what is happening around you, this makes you worthy.
Breath in deep through your nose, slowly counting to four. Hold your breath in, expanding your lungs for two counts. Release your breath slowly through your nose, counting to four again. Exhale through your nose in one big huff, like you just smelled something bad, to get rid of that last bit of stale air.
Repeat this pattern three to six times. You will begin to feel calm energy relax you if you were tense or stimulate you if you were depleted.
Intentional breathing brings us back to center from either extreme we find ourselves leaning.
