Light Balances Darkness
The Spring Equinox is Saturday! It’s only three days away and I can already feel its powerful energy.
On the Equinox, the light balances out the darkness.
The sun passes the equator moving from the southern to the northern hemisphere. That means the day is equal to the night. Here in the northern hemisphere, the days are getting longer and warmer. This pattern will continue until the summer solstice in June.
The warmer days thaw the ice allowing water to flow stronger into the streams from the mountains. This increase in capacity nourishes the land and flourishes the residing wildlife waking up from hibernation.
Trees are soaking up the abundant light and preparing to regrow their leaves.
We can begin cultivating saplings to transfer into the earth’s soil as it continues to get warmer. Our ideas can be sown, just like the plants we propagate.
Walk outside and appreciate the Earth’s beauty as it rises up. What signs of spring do you see where you live?
