Find the Right Tools to Help You Improve
Check out my pulley system! This tool has been exactly what I need to regain movement in my arms.
My physical therapist suggested this pulley system to aid in my stretching exercises. It has made all the difference. By taking the weight off of my muscles, they can stretch a little more than before.
Physical health is a long journey, especially if you’ve had any sort of surgery, injury or illness. Even on an uphill hike, there is lots to celebrate as you move forward.
I believe getting the right setup is a victory in itself!
Don’t hesitate to use tools to help you along. This will look different for everyone. For me it was a pulley system to help increase mobility after surgery. It could be props like a block, cushion or strap to use during yoga or stretching. It could be an app or watch that tracks steps and workouts. It could be a membership to an online studio for routines and accountability.
My point is that we all need a little help sometimes. Allow yourself to add what you need to your life to get you where you want to be...healthy and whole!
