Getting knocked around by the waves of life is difficult. It is also inevitable. 


The first step to staying balanced is to acknowledge what is happening and how you feel about it.


This may not feel like an action, but without truly understanding the circumstance you will continue to go in circles. 


The wave you don’t see clearly is more than likely going to knock you down.


Observe your surroundings and your emotions without judgment. 


Is this wave, your circumstance, big or small? Is it gentle or forceful? 


Honestly acknowledging your experience allows you to respond with compassion and find peace.
