Happy 38th Birthday Anda!
After work, I went down by the river.
My birthday ritual is to take some time to forest bathe, meditate in the mighty presence of nature. I like to spend my birthday connecting with nature and with myself. To remember the purpose and passion with which I walk this earth.
I love living in the woods and being able to take time away like this, not only on my birthday, but as often as I need.
I’m learning this season that “simple” is not “easy.” And that is okay. I am up for the challenge. I am thankful for this amazing life.
At 38, I feel empowered in a way that I could only dream of before now. Gaining experience and wisdom is a crucial part of growing older. My spirit is young, but I have wisdom to offer now. I am embracing that and stepping into my power as a female mentor.
I left my sacred space by the river and started toward my friends back in Yosemite for craft night. As I was driving along the forest service road, I saw the sunset over my shoulder. It stopped me in my tracks!
Fabulous!!!
There is no other word for Mother Nature’s birthday gift.
A brilliant sunset awaited me as soon as I allowed my awareness to receive. It was the pinnacle of my day. This was my sign that I am on the right path. Everything that is difficult, is a learning experience to grow and gain more experience and wisdom.
I am so unbelievably thankful for this world and my ability to be a part of it.
I finally made it to craft night with the gals from work. I was pleasantly surprised when they had a gift, salted caramel coffee from Yosemite Village, hung my name on the birthday wall, and sang to me with a candle in a delicious cupcake set aside just for me.
I felt so special and loved.
Craft night was an inspiration! We had so much fun making yearbooks for the summer season. It is sad to see everyone go, but there are memories that will last forever.
For beginning to end, this birthday was a special one. The morning rays, brightened up a beautiful day, and Mother Nature showed the way to make be feel connected and loved.
What more can we ask for in this world?
From beginning to end this birthday was amazing. Of course, there are hard moments in between, but that is life. Living is hard and chaotic, but so worth it.
Each year, I gain experience and wisdom. Each year, I grow and gain perspective. This is an amazing world, let us choose to make it a beautiful place to be.
