Clarity Delivers Results

We must specifically define our need or desire.

If we are hungry, we want food.

If we are struggling, we want peace.

However, food and peace are very broad generalities. We can not move forward with much progress on such a wide path.

If you are hungry, you can eat pizza, hamburgers, salad, or tacos. Each choice would take you to a different location.

If you are struggling, you could want to get motivation on a project, ease restlessness or worry, or learn to respond to interruptions with patience instead of anger. Each need is valid, but they too come from different places.

We can have multiple needs and desires at once. However, to fully find a path to wholeness, choose one at a time to focus on.

I wanted to feel less overwhelmed by everyday circumstances and responsibilities. By acknowledging this desire, I could begin understanding what path would help me find stability.

I learned mindfulness techniques to begin understanding the undulations of life. I realized I must continually recharge my mind and body to find stability for my emotions.

Getting specific on your need or desire will allow you to decide on specific actions to take to find your path to wholeness. If you don’t know what you need, ask for help!
